Model keys

Apply for model keys

Each model of the kLLM catalog is sealed under its own key. Apply for the catalog models to evaluate; the team reviews every application, and approved applicants receive the key of each approved model through a one-time download link. A model key demonstrates the workflow; it is not a confidentiality boundary.

Process

From application to first run

  1. 01

    Apply

Select the catalog models and submit the form. A confirmation link is sent to the email address given.

  2. 02

    Confirm

Follow the link to confirm the email address. The application then enters the review queue.

  3. 03

    Review

The team reviews the application model by model and may request additional information by email.

  4. 04

    Receive the keys

Approved applicants receive a one-time, expiring link to one archive with a key file per approved model. Key files are never sent as email attachments.

After approval

Extract the archive, import the key file of each approved model into the local key ring, then run the model. When a sealed model runs without --key, kLLM selects the key whose fingerprint matches the model. The download page states the passphrase of the key files; it is never sent by email.

These commands are part of the upcoming 0.2 line and are on the main branch. The catalog models are rolling out on Hugging Face.
